Apparently there's supposed to be able to send the ringtone I make as a message, but all it says is email and web, and my phone can't do either... what do I do?

(@Luke A.) What you can try is sending a text from your phone to your email account, like blah@yahoo.com(instead of a phone number) and save the contact info. Mine is 555-555-5555@vzwpix.com. then have mobile17 send whatever you made to your email. Then save it to your computer. Then attatch it to an email and send it to the saved contact you just saved. That works for me. Good luck.

I have the same problem that i do not get the OPTION to uncheck mobile web (because i do not pay for mobile web, therefore making that option pointless) and on the old mobile17 i just recieved everything via text messages and NEVER had a problem. (@Luke A.) sometimes if specific phones are designated to not having certain capabilities that are complient with the site they gray out the options that do not apply or are not compatible with the phone. Though you have the ability to use it the website grays it out by a default setting.

(@Jessica G.) Obviously there is some sort of issue either with verizon or mobile17... Like a ton of other people posting here, I use verizon, DO NOT HAVE MOBILE INTERNET SERVICE on my phone, and have successfully made and received ringtones via MMS or picture message in the past.
However, my last 4 or 5 have not been sending to my phone REGARDLESS THAT I HAVE MMS CHECKED AND NOT EMAIL! It just sends a link to my email address each time.
Stop telling us to check off MMS, BECAUSE WE ARE!
Any information from admins or people who have a higher knowledge on this issue would be appreciated.

My suggestion is to go ahead and create your ringtone, then on the page where it shows the status (after your ringtone has been finished and sent) click on the link that says something like this: (have web access? site —on your phone!) BUT do it from your computer and find which link plays music, go back to the page that has the link and then right click on that link to download the clip to your computer. Once you've done that you can email it to your phone... If you don't know your phone's email address then send an MMS message from your phone to your email address, then reply to that email and attach the downloaded clip... It should then send it to your phone and you can save it as a ringtone. If you have Verizon your phone's email address is ##########@vzwpix.com (the #'s being your phone number digits).

I have been using this site for years without a single problem. It's really disappointing that we are all having this issue now. I turned to other ringtone making sites (Myxer and Phone Zoo). I made a ringtone from each site of the same song and they sounded terrible!
On this site, I tried to save the song when I did the preview, however, I do not have Quicktime Pro so it would not let me do anything with it. So emailing it to my phone is out of the question.

I send the texts with the music to my phone but my phone never fully downloads them and says message expired or not available. It also says that when i try to attach the music to my online account and send it to my phone. But i get picture messages with no problem from people.
