- “get handler?” (a Year Ago)

hey guys, when ever i try to save the ringtone to my phone, it says i must get a handler. i read about shortening it and it still hasnt worked! i have a lg muziq on the bell mobility network, does anyone else have this problem? thanks

(@Brandon Sharma) Yeah same problem with my Bell phone. Mobile17 used to work fine for me on the same phone, but since they updated their whole system it isn't working.

(@Michael R.) would be nice if someone had an answer to this problem, it is insanely infuriating beyond belief, download something "oh yeah you need the handler, click ok, takes me to the sprint site, where there is nothing but whats popular nothing relevant to a handler whatsoever!!!!" ARGHHHHH

I have a sanyo 2700 & had the same prob b/c mobile 17 doesn't realize this phone cannot play mp3 files. so, I just switched my phone model back to my old one (sanyo 6650 - which also didn't play mp3s) & it works now on my new phone! No more "you need handler" bs. it drove me nuts for days... i would shorten the file to less than 15 secs & nothing worked no matter how many times i tried the same file. Try finding another model w/in your phone comp & switch it to that. It'll work on your current phone no problem - hopefully. Seems mobile 17 isn't up to par with each phone's capabilities. Good luck & hope this helps! This may help especially if your phone isn't able to play mp3s.
