“iphone 3G wont show file as ringtone!” (10 Months Ago)

  okay....I havemade ringtone, opened in itunes, sync'd with iphone and still cant find the file via the iphone. there is no ringtone section in itunes on iphone...only on computer. I heard apple makes you pay to upload....is this true? Im so close and so far!!! please help.

  (@Lynn Porkchop) I'm having the same problem! I opened the file, it shows up on my iPhone under the tabbed menu where I can 'sync ringtones', but it's not actually in the ringtone list. What am I missing?
